Description of Initiative This core module is delivered via online lectures and seminars to cover  approaches literature. The lectures introduce the terms, concepts and  arguments central to each topic of the module, and the seminars develop  these topics further through both tutor- and student-lead discussion. In  addition to seminars this module includes four timetabled workshops  which are team-taught with the AST or library staff using relevant  material from the module.Students are also explicitly encouraged to  apply the study skills developed in this module across their other  modules, through the use of reflective blogs which form part of the  assessment strategy for another core module (AFX1103 Integrated Learning  Portflio).
Ideas for adapting Tailored workshops within the curriculum using genuine module materials  to develop generic skills. Materials for ASTs are adapted and module  tutors deliver within seminars.
